The Latest
(BIO)

Relevant Noise was formed when singer/song writer Nehemiah Ward (Nemo) talked to Nathan Libby (Drummer) in late 2009 about getting together and to jam some. In January 2010 Joined by Bassist Elizabeth Ward they began to craft their sound. Rachel Bell (Singer) was added to the mix in February a few weeks later; this foursome put the pedal to the metal working out some of the new material, and in late March debuted their sounds at Psalm 66 (Athens, TN) opening for Holingsworth (Knoxville)
In late summer Nathan announced that he had to cut back due to over commitment at church and work, and after playing one last show stepped down as drummer for the band. In November Nemo approached Daniel Bird, who had been playing drums with Nemo at church for the last year, about filling the void left by Nathan, and he agreed to give it a shot. In January 2011 Relevant Noise debuted again this time at The Battle For Christ. Much encouragement came from the completion, and Relevant Noise redoubled their efforts. Adding yet another layer of creativity and fullness lead Guitarist Paul Wooten joined the group in April.
Relevant Noise is now poised to move forward with a fresh sound and message for this generation of young people.

Relevant Noise is a band seeking to share their faith in Jesus through passionate, meaningful songs of experience and practical life in Christ (Isaiah 13:4).

(Nemo) My name is Nehemiah Snow Ward. I have been involved in worship music from my years beginning as a young one at Church. Music has always been a big part of my family's life, but until my later teen years I never had a desire to learn or play music. As my relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the risen sacrifice for my sins became more of a mature center in my life my love for passionately worshiping Him awoke a love for music that has never begun to fade, but has grown more the more I have learned. Over the years I have played in many modern worship bands (W.W.J.D. Psalm 66 http://www.psalmsixtysix.com, Etc) as well as writing original music (Exposition Deity, DeadCynic, Etc), though not always Church and congregational worship songs still very centered on God's love and mercy in every aspect of the life a believer. I look forward to the many opportunities to lift up the name of Jesus through music in the future.
(Liz) My Name Is Elizabeth Ann Ward. I have always loved music! My Mom and Dad used to sing and play worship together; I think I was born with a love for music. I have never really played an instrument until now, but have finally found one that I like.
(Woot) My Name Is Paul Wooten. Lead guitar is my thang; I love shedding a riff and playing music with the guys. A great family makes great people and I have one. Thanks guys.
(Snoogie) My Name Is Rachael Bell. I have been raised in a Christian God fearing home all my life, and been involved in Church activities for as long as I can remember. I love to sing, and have been blessed with the opportunity to sing from time to time at Church and now I rock it with the band.
(Dan) My Name is Daniel Bird. I Love music; music is one of the most fun things in the world. I play guitar, bass and drums. Guitaring for a few years, but have been playing drums for the last couple.
